There is so much more to a Gemstone than its polished, faceted, final product. There is an amazing process each gem goes through to achieve this final form that is just as beautiful. Gemstones are beautiful in that they refract light through their multi-facetted finished, showing off the beauty of both the cut and the stone. Gemstones I think are like people, we all start out as unassuming rocks, our beauty hidden within, which can only shine once we take the time to polish away the outer shell.
